The creation of a cake..

It starts with a plan and/or idea...

Cake batter split into bowls

Take these colors..

Add a few drops..

Mix well.. and wah-la!

Place into pans.. (this cake is three layers)

Bake, frost and then time to refrigerate.

Meanwhile.. fondant I made the night before.. 

Add some color..

Frosting! 

Shortening, water and flavoring of choice..

Creamed together..

Add powdered sugar and beat until whipped.

Fluffy. :D

Color is added the same way..

Rice Krispies treats. <3

All that white stuff?

Cornstarch.

Cake before grass is added.

So. This time..

This time, I'm going to try to capture pictures as I create cake magic. We'll see how that goes. (I am currently slacking.. XD)

Magic: The Gathering card alters

I had two cakes lined up for December that didn't fall through. But the next cake I am going to tackle is a surprise cake for my brother's 23rd birthday. They grow up so fast..
